Givenchy Hydra Sparkling Foam Mask
I am always on the lookout for potions that can provide the ultimate skin hydration and moisture. A magic cream that can prevent the stress from creeping up your face when it is time for a business review with the Boss. I know good skin comes with good skincare , a healthy lifestyle and a healthy budget.
I stumbled upon a product a week ago that ticked my #Skingoals list. Givenchy Hydra Sparkling Moisturizing & Embellishing Foam Mask (whew! that was quite a mouthful! ). It says on the box that" Givenchy Laboratories have created Hydra sparkling, with its dual "light moisturizing" and "light energizing" technology that adds the effervescence of sparkling water in the skin for a dazzling light effect". I was so overwhelmed by it that the faces of Elsa, Bella , Arwen and the Night King flashed before my eyes.(wai..wha?! did I just mention the Night King?)
It is also stated in the box that " it is enriched with SWC, this intensely hydrating mask combines a fresh and frosty texture with the weightlessness of an airy foam. Bathed in coolness and hydration, skin appears revitalized, comfortable and glowing. Skin looks smoother , more luminous, more elastic as if plumped from within. Let's wait and see. As if on cue, I clicked the add to cart button.
It arrived on my doorstep two days ago and the promise of that luminous skin is underway. Let's take a close look, shall we?
The Look
Box:Mint colored with silver lining printed around the box.
Givenchy logo embossed on the front of the box.
Container: Light blue with silver chrome prism top.
Formula: foamy, mousse-like texture

The Feel
Overall the container feels sturdy and heavy.
The formula feels really light, velvety, similar to a mousse with an airy texture.
It does not evaporate or disappear or even dry out when you touch it between your fingers.
Moment of Truth
Cleanse: Pond's (charcoal activated) facial wash
Tone: Miniso Hyaluronic Acid essence toner
I used a cream spatula to scoop the product and massaged it onto my face.
It was so creamy and velvety that it spreads on your face so easily.
I did not miss a spot, I also applied some on my neck.
No immediate transformation or sparkles on the skin but the product feels really refreshing on my skin. By refreshing , I mean cool or minty. I am very critical about how a product smells but this one smells subtly sweet with a citrus twist. For me it smells divine.
I went to bed and slept for 5 hours. I got up and my sister saw me on the way to the bathroom and said " it looks like you had a good night's sleep." Hmmmm.... then it dawned on me what I did last night before going to bed !
I know it is still too early to make conclusions but i did see improvements on my face. It looked like I had a full 8 hour sleep. My skin is plump and bouncy. it is not oily at all!( I have really oily skin and large pores by the way) . The fine under eye lines are almost gone and my under eye looks brighter. I will be posting results updates after 2 weeks, 4 weeks and after a month. ( I feel giddy just thinking about it!)
